2012 Summer Camps

Randolph College summer athletic camps provide instruction, fun and physical fitness activities for children and teenagers.

Tennis - WildCat Tennis Camps

Dates: June 11-15, 2012(Junior WildCats), June 25-29, 2011 (Senior WildCats)
Times: 9 a.m. - Noon (Junior WildCats), 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Senior WildCats)
Cost: $120 (Junior WildCats), $180 (Senior WildCats)
Description: Open to boys and girls, ages 6-12 enroll in Junior WildCat camp, ages 13-18 enroll in Senior WildCat Camp. All skill and experience levels welcome. Instruction by Randolph Head Tennis Coach Jamie Campbell and Assistant Tennis Coach Kersten Morrison along with Randolph players. Learn the game that will last you a lifetime.
Location: Randolph College Tennis Courts.
Discounts: 10% off if registered before May 1.

Basketball - Skill Builder Hoop Camp

Dates: July 30-August 3, 2012
Times: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Cost: $150
Description: Open to boys and girls, aged 5-14, of all skill and experience levels. Instruction by Randolph College coaches and players including drills, 5-on-5 games, contests, daily speakers and lessons, and structured free activity time. Each camper receives a t-shirt and a basketball.
Discounts: $25 off for second family member enrolled, $25 off for Randolph employees or R-MWC alumnae (limit one discount per camper).

Women's Lacrosse - Randolph College Lax Camp

Dates: June 18-June 22, 2012
Times: 9 a.m. - Noon
Cost: $150 before May 1, $175 after May 1
Description: Open to girls, grades 6-12, of all skill and experience levels. Instruction by Randolph College coaches and players including lacrosse stations as well as one-on-one teaching sessions, you will work on such skills as footwork, stick work, shooting, dodging, as well as offense and defensive posistioning and tactics.

Girl's Basketball - Randolph Summer WildCat Camp


Dates: July 16-20, 2012
Times: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Cost: $135
Description: This summer don't miss out on the First Annual Randolph College Girl's Basketball Camp. Girls ages 6-15 of all skill levels will enjoy a camp staff committed to teaching and instructing, as well as making sure all campers are having FUN! Each camper will leave with plenty of new drills and skills to help them become better basketball players.

Riding - Summer Riding Program

Dates: July 25-28, 2012
Times: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Cost: Varies depending on package.

Description: There will be mounted and unmounted instruction offered over the four days. Mounted instruction will focus on position, control and technique. Unmounted practicum will include basic stable management, vet and farrier care, bandaging, wrapping, braiding, horse show management and safety.

Volleyball - Team Camp


Dates:
July 26-29, 2012
Times:Overnight camp; Check-in for camp starts at noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 26. Camp concludes on Sunday, July 29 at 2 p.m.
Cost: $215 for resident campers, $200 for commuter campers. Head coach is free, additional coaches and chaperones are $95.
Description:This year we will be using VES gym (located less than 2 miles away from Randolph College) to host all of our training sessions and tournament play games. Optional skills competitions in the evenings will be held at Randolph College.  We can host as many as 12 teams using 3 courts. Camp will be filled first come, first serve basis. Coaches may bring as many teams from their program as they wish. Open to any and all entrants, limited to girl’s junior varsity and high school volleyball only. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 8 matches. Training sessions will begin on Thursday afternoon and will also be held on Friday and Saturday morning. Pool play will begin on Friday afternoon and will be continued on Saturday afternoon and Sunday Morning. Your pool play record for the week will provide us the seeding for a single elimination tournament on Sunday. Each team is responsible for its own transportation.
