The Randolph College men’s basketball team will look to build on last season’s success as the WildCats join the prestigious Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) in 2008-2009. It marks the first season the program will have the opportunity to compete for an automatic bid in the NCAA Division III national championship tournament.
Under the direction of second-year Head Coach Clay Nunley, Randolph will play a competitive schedule that includes colleges from the Capital Athletic Conference, USA South Athletic Conference, Middle Atlantic Conference, and the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
“Now that our players have a taste of what NCAA Division III basketball is all about, it will aid in our transition as a program to the ODAC,” says Nunley. The WildCats will open ODAC play November 25 at Lynchburg College.
