Thompson Joins Men's Basketball Staff

Antwaun Thompson joins WildCats for 2009-2010 season

Lynchburg, VA -- The Randolph College men's basketball program has announced the addition of Antwaun Thompson as an assistant coach with the WildCats. Coach Thompson's coaching background includes time as an assistant at Meadowbrook High School in Richmond as well as a coach in the successful Richmond Metro AAU program. He will join a staff that includes current Randolph assistant Phil Canosa.

"We are excited to have Coach Thompson joining our coaching staff. We have been very fortunate to have Coach Canosa for the past two years, and he has done an outstanding job for us. Coach Thompson will fit in very well and help us as we continue to build for the success in the coming season," stated Randolph head coach Clay Nunley.

Randolph will open its season November 15th at Gallaudet University. The WildCats home opener will take place on November 21st when welcome Shenandoah University to Lynchburg.
