The WildCat Men's Cross Country Team had a successful third season of competition in 2009. The WildCats took first place in the Virginia 10-Miler Exhibition Road Race in Lynchburg last fall. Randolph also competed at the Washington and Lee Invitational, Hagan Stone Classic and Guilford College Invitational. Jerry Wells '12 was Randolph's top finisher in all seven meets during the season.
Under the direction of Head Coach Catherine Phillips, the team participated in the South/Southeast Regional Championships held at Guilford College as well as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship Meet.
