This off-season has seen a lot of changes in the Randolph College men’s lacrosse program, mainly the departure of the program’s inaugural head coach in Scott Ketcham. Ketcham led the program through the first three years of its existence, but first-year head coach Andy Sinclair was hired as the new head mentor as the WildCats push forward.
Sinclair is no stranger to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), as he was a four-year player for cross town rival Lynchburg College. His experience in the conference as both a player and an assistant coach will be vital to the improvement of the WildCat men’s lacrosse team.
“It’s been a great start to the year so far,” said Sinclair. “Things haven’t been that much different from my experience as an assistant and as a head coach at the high school level. There’s no trick to it really, it’s about working hard, gelling together as a group which will get us to where we want to be.”
