Head Coach Scott Ketcham

Scott Ketcham photoIn his second year at the helm Scott Ketcham, a former all-American at Hampden-Sydney College leads the Randolph College men’s lacrosse team into its first season as a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Prior to his arrival at Randolph, Ketcham spent two years as the assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Muhlenberg College. In addition to his coaching experience with the Mules, Ketcham also spent two years as the assistant coach at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia.

At Hampden-Sydney, Ketcham was a two-time Old Dominion Athletic Conference all-conference member as well as a two-time United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-American goalie. He also helped lead the Tigers to consecutive NCAA Division III quarterfinal appearances.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Ketcham will also serve as the College’s director of intramurals.

Assistant Coach Trevor Garmey

Trevor Garmey begins his first year with the WildCats this season. A 2002 graduate of the College of William and Mary, Garmey earned his undergraduate degree in history. While at William and Mary, Garmey was a member of the varsity lacrosse team.

Garmey started his coaching stint at nearby Virginia Episcopal School where he served as the assistant lacrosse coach. He was responsible for improving the team's defensive performance which led to the Virginia State final in 2004. Garmey also served as assistant coach at The Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana for three seasons where he helped lead the squad to the 2007 Indiana State Championship. Garmey's first head coaching position came at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Austin, Texas where he was named Texas HSLL Coach of the Year in 2008

He currently works as a project manager at Financial Designs in Lynchburg.

Assistant Coach Michael Neczyporuk

Michael Neczyporuk joins the WildCats staff for his first season assisting head coach Scott Ketcham. Neczyporuk earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Neczyporuk has played lacrosse at the high school, college, and club level. A resident of the Lynchburg area for the past five years, Neczyporuk currently works at Schrader International in Altavista as a Senior Buyer.
