The Randolph College men's soccer program has become one of the best programs in all of the state of Virginia, as evidenced by the success it has had so quickly. In only five short seasons, head coach Bryan Waggoner has turned his team into an ODAC Champion while guiding his squad to a NCAA Sweet 16 berth in 2011. Randolph earned the first male ODAC title for the College in 2011 with a stunning 2-1 come from behind in the ODAC Championship over Lynchburg College. In the NCAA Tournament, Randolph would upset No. 2 Christopher Newport University in the first round, and finished the season ranked No. 18 in the NSCAA Poll.
Randolph collected plenty of conference hardware in 2011, as Waggoner earned Coach of the Year, sophomore Corey Sindle '14 took home Player of the Year, and six players were honored on the league's All-ODAC squads. With 10 starters returning to a team that made it to the final 16, look for the WildCats to continue to make waves in the ODAC.
