
Bryan
Waggoner’s coaching experience is widespread, as he has coached
at the club, high school, and NCAA Division I and III levels. Prior
to being hired as the WildCat men’s soccer coach, he worked at
his alma mater, the University of Richmond, where he served as an assistant
coach for three seasons. During this time his duties included on-field
training, game analysis, and recruiting. Prior to his work with the
Spiders, Waggoner was the head coach at Douglas S. Freeman High School
in Richmond where he amassed a 24-11-8 record over three seasons.
As a Division I student-athlete at the University of Richmond, Waggoner was a four-year letter winner. He served as team captain his senior year when he earned the Coaches Award in recognition of his leadership skills. He graduated from Richmond with a degree in sociology.
After graduation, Waggoner was named the assistant men’s and women’s coach at NCAA Division III Linfield College in Oregon. He helped the men’s team earn an at-large bid in the NCAA tournament. Waggoner was involved in all aspects of the Linfield program, including on-field training, scouting, and recruiting.
At the club level, Waggoner has served as the technical director of the Virginia Capital Area Soccer League, where he analyzed, evaluated, and trained teams throughout the club system. In addition, he was the head coach of the under-18 boy’s elite team, guiding it to five tournament championships and a final four standing in the state cup.

Cofer is in his third year as assistant coach of the WildCat men's soccer
team. Cofer has been a part of the men's soccer program since its inception
in 2007. Cofer assists with all aspects of the soccer program, with
an emphasis on goalie development.
Cofer has over eight years experience coaching at both the college and high school level. Prior to Randolph, Cofer served as assistant coach at Rustburg High School for three seasons. He started as head coach of the junior varsity team before becoming the varsity assistant in his final season. Cofer has also served as assistant coach at Appomattox County High School from 2002-2004. During his time at Appomattox, Cofer helped lead the squad to a third place finish at the Greater Lynchburg Area Soccer Showcase, the best finish in school history.
Recently, Cofer received his D coaching license in soccer.
Gianfranco
Greco enters his second season serving as assistant coach for the WildCat
men's soccer team. Greco assists with all aspects of the soccer program.
Prior to Randolph, Greco served as head coach of the PASA travel team in Bedford, Virginia where his established and organized a first-year travel team. In 2005-2006, Greco served as the varsity assistant coach at Liberty High School for three seasons, before becoming head coach of the junior varsity squad. At Liberty, he led a rookie-laden team to a second place finish in the Seminole District. Greco also served as an assisting coach at Florida Atlantic University where he worked with the club team. Recently, Greco received his D coaching license in soccer.
Greco also has enjoyed a very accomplished playing career starting with his time at Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach, Florida and continuing during his time as a member of the club team at Florida Atlantic. Currently, Greco is a member of the OSSL in Lynchburg.
Montana Gibson joins the WildCat men’s soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach after playing two of the previous three seasons under head coach Bryan Waggoner. Gibson played in 31 career games with the WildCats, starting 15 of those contests and scoring twice. He was named a Randolph team captain in 2009, and was elected as a Student-Athlete Mentor at RC in 2008.
Gibson most recently served as the head coach of the Central Virginia United U-13 club soccer team in 2009-10, and before that was a volunteer assistant at Randolph for the 2008 season. Gibson is very familiar with the Central Virginia area, as he has worked as the junior varsity head coach at Liberty High School in Bedford, VA in 2006. Gibson graduated in December of 2009 from the College with a degree in Health and Physical Education K-12, earning his teaching certificate as well.
