Jonathon Bolton is ODAC Athlete of the Week

Lynchburg, VA -- Randolph College men's soccer standout sophomore Jonathon Bolton was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week in men's soccer as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Bolton continued his stellar play with three goals during the week. Bolton first netted two goals, including the game-winner, in a 2-1 win against Randolph-Macon College earlier in the week. On Saturday, in one of the biggest wins in school history, Bolton scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 overtime thriller at Hampden-Sydney College. The wins placed Randolph in sole posession of fourth place in the conference standings.

On the season, Bolton tops the squad with 17 points on eight goals and one assist. Bolton stands eighth in the conference in points, while leading the conference in game-winning goals with four.

Bolton and the WildCats will continue their push for the ODAC playoffs when they host Roanoke College Wednesday for a game at 4:00 pm.
