Brittany Fox and Rachel Carlson take first in two events each

Lynchburg, VA -- The Randolph College swim team suffered a close loss in their home opening meet against visiting Hollins University Tuesday night, 49-44.
With the loss Randolph stands at 0-1 overall, while Hollins picks up their first win of the season at 1-0 overall.
Brittany Fox took first place in the 1000 yard freestyle and the 200 yard IM, while finishing second in the 200 yard backstroke for the WildCats. Rachel Carlson also had a strong showing taking first in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Barbara LaFleur finished first in the 500 yard freestyle and second in the 200 yard freestyle. Carly Hill took second in the 50 yard freestyle and third in the 100 yard freestyle.
The WildCats will return to the pool Friday when they travel to Greensboro College for a meet at 7:00 pm.
