Women's Swimming takes 5th in ODAC championships

The WildCats finished in 5th place

Radford, VA -- The Randolph College women's swim team completed action at the 2009 ODAC Championships Sunday night. The WildCats finished in fifth place with a total of 202 points through 18 events.

Brittany Fox was the top finisher for Randolph on Day 3, taking 10th place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:27.01 and 12th in the 200 breaststroke (2:51.19). Rachel Carlson finished 11th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:40.63. Bobbie LaFleur took home 16th in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 22:00.70. Rounding out the swimmers for Randolph was Erika Nye (22nd in the 200 breaststroke) and Maggy Roza (19th in the 100 freestyle).

The relay team of Roza, LaFleur, Fox and Carlson recorded 7th in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 4:09.56.

The meet concludes the 2008-2009 season for the WildCats.
