Lynchburg, VA -- Randolph College announced the resignation of head swim coach Christen Colburn. Colburn joined the WildCat program in September 2008.
During her one-year stint as head coach, Colburn guided Randolph to wins over Salem College, College of Notre Dame of Maryland and ODAC competitor Emory and Henry College. The WildCats finished fifth in the 2009 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship Meet. Under the direction of Colburn, seven different swimmers posted career-best times in multiple events throughout the season.
Athletics Director Tina Hill is grateful for Colburn's hard work. "Coach Colburn was very committed to our program and we wish her nothing but the best," says Hill.
