WildCats sweep doubles competition; Take four of six singles flights

Lynchburg, VA -- The Randolph College Women's Tennis team posted its second ODAC match win of the season with a 7-2 victory over visiting Sweet Briar College Tuesday afternoon.
With the win Randolph improves to 4-6 overall and 2-5 in conference matches. Sweet Briar drops to 5-11 overall and 2-6 in ODAC matches.
The WildCats took all three doubles flights, as the teams of Jane Campbell/Lori Gerlach, Caitlin Clare/Iliana Carrasquillo and Shantel Rivera/Madison Kebler all recorded doubles wins.
Gerlach, Clare, Rivera and Kebler also posted singles wins for Randolph. Gerlach took her match 6-4, 7-5. Clare took her match 6-1, 6-2. Rivera posted a 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 win. Kebler was victorious 6-1, 6-2.
Randolph will return to action Thursday when the WildCats travel to Hollins University for an ODAC match at 4:30 p.m.
