WildCats return three starters from a season ago

Lynchburg, VA -- Randolph College women's basketball head coach Melissa Wiggins announced the WildCats 2009-2010 schedule on Thursday. Randolph opens its season with a trip to Marymount University for their Tip-Off Classic on November 20th and 21st. The non-conference action continues with the WildCats home opener against Virginia Intermont on November 24th and later when they travel to Trinity College on January 16th.
Randolph will open its Old Dominion Athletic Conference slate on November 30th when they welcome Eastern Mennonite University to Lynchburg. The WildCats will host Roanoke College on December 4th before hitting the road for three straight away contests at Emory and Henry, Hollins, and Virginia Wesleyan before breaking for final exams.
Following the break, Randolph returns to action at home against Bridgewater on January 3rd and Randolph-Macon just two days later. Both January and February will consist solely of ODAC matchups including home/away tilts with Guilford, Bridgewater, Washington and Lee, Roanoke, Hollins, Emory and Henry, Virginia Wesleyan, Eastern Mennonite, and Randolph-Macon. The WildCats travel to cross-town rival Lynchburg College on February 19th to conclude the regular season.
