Towson, MD -- After 110 minutes of play, both Randolph College and Marywood University could not decide a winner as the two teams battled to a 1-1 two overtime tie in the consolation game of the Goucher College Tournament on Saturday night.

With the tie, Randolph sees its overall record stand at 1-1-1. Marywood leaves the two-game tourney with a 0-2-1 overall mark.

The WildCats Eddy Ratianarivo gave Randolph the early 1-0 lead when he found the back of the net off an assist from Rashan Colbert at the 26:48 mark of the first half. Randolph would take that lead into the break. Marywood would answer and tie the game at 1-1 when Brandon Ritter scored off an assist from Lee Powers.

Although both teams had several opportunities to break the tie, either was able to take advantage. Marywood outshot Randolph 21-17 in the contest, while the WildCats held a slight 9-7 advantage in corner kicks. A physical game all the way through, Randolph was whistled for 19 fouls, while the Pacers were penalized 21 times.

Scott Zaring played all 110 minutes in net for Randolph in his first collegiate start finishing with nine saves. Randolph will return to action next Saturday when they travel to Lynchburg College to face Washington and Jefferson. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
