Jerry Wells leads the WildCats in the 8k run

Lexington, VA -- The Randolph College Men's Cross Country team took 8th place at the Washington and Lee University Invitational Saturday afternoon. Eight schools participated in the 8k run with a total of 68 runners.
Sophomore Jerry Wells led the WildCats with a time of 33:13 (41st place). Fellow sophomore David Kosciusko followed with a time of 43:48 (64th place), while junior Carl Coffey posted a time of 47:34 (65th place). Rounding out the WildCat runners were senior Karl Sakas with a time of 47:57 (67th place) and first-year Michael Harris who finished with a time of 47:58 (68th place).
Randolph will return to action next Saturday when they travel to Greensboro, NC to compete in the Guilford College Cross Country Carnival scheduled for 10:15 a.m.
