Jerry Wells finishes 4th in annual road race

Lynchburg, VA -- The Randolph College Men's Cross Country team competed in the annual Virginia 4 Miler road race on Saturday morning held in the Lynchburg surrounding community. 695 participants (both male and female) competed in the event.
Jerry Wells led the WildCats with a time of 24:23 (4th), over one minute better than he finished in the event a year ago. David Kosciusko finished at 29:05 (36th), while Carl Coffey came in at 29:53 (42nd). Karl Sakas finished at 32:55 (104th) in his first appearance in the event, while Michael Harris (33:12/115th) and Travis Brown (37:21/230th) rounded out the WildCat runners.
Randolph will return to action Saturday when they travel to Greensboro, NC to compete in the Hagan Stone Classic at 9:30 a.m.
