WildCats Men's Tennis mentor honored as Carolina League Executive of the Year

Sunwall doubles as both the head men's tennis coach at Randolph and general manager of the Lynchburg Hillcats minor league baseball team

Lynchburg, VA -- Randolph College men's tennis head coach Pual Sunwall has been very busy this summer and early fall as he serves as the general manager of the Lynchburg Hillcats minor league baseball team. For the second time in his tenure as general manager of the Lynchburg Hillcats, Sunwall has been honored with the Carolina League's highest executive honor.

The league named Sunwall the 2009 Calvin Falwell Carolina League Executive of the Year Award, and voting took place before the Hillcats won the Mills Cup championship. Sunwall also won the award in 1995.

Sunwall will be presented with the award at baseball's winter meetings in Indianapolis on December 7th. Sunwall recently completed his 30th year in baseball and his 22nd in Lynchburg.

Sunwall will lead this year's WildCats into fall play when they travel to Ferrum College to compete in the Bud Skeens Memorial Tournament on Saturday.
