Lydia Kirchner takes first place in Oak Ridge Medal Finals

Roanoke, VA -- The Randolph College Riding team opened its 2009-2010 campaign at the Hollins University Horse Show in Roanoke, VA.
Gillian Baird took first place in Low Hunter. Elizabeth Kerron finished first in Adult Hunter and second in the SWVHJA Adult Medal. Lydia Kirchner placed second in the Adult Hunter and first in the Oak Ridge Medal Finals. Jennifer Brown recorded a fifth place finish in Adult Hunter and second in the Oak Ridge Medal Finals. Lorna McFarlane was fifth in the special Adult Hunter.
Randolph will return to action next weekend (10/10-10/11) at the House Mountain Horse Show.
