Lynchburg, VA -- Sophomore defender Greg Herrick (Mt. Airy, MD/ Linganore) was selected to represent Randolph College at the 2009 NCAA Division III Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas. Herrick and senior softball player Nikki Smith were the two Randolph athletes selected to receive this honor as a result of their continued leadership both on and off the field of play. They, along with first year head women’s lacrosse coach Alexis Wagner, will be in Dallas for the conference from October 16-18.
By attending the conference, NCAA Division III student-athletes, coaches and administrators will enhance their personal development and leadership skills to positively affect their campus, conference and communities in the future. Attendees participate in numerous educational sessions which impact the development and growth of student-athletes on campus or within their conference. Sessions offered at the conference will allow participants a greater understanding of the NCAA, the Division III governance and legislation process, and the Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
