Volleyball goes 1-1 at Hood College Tri-Match

English and the WildCats recorded their first win of the season against Trinity College in three straight sets

Frederick, MD -- The Randolph College Volleyball team recorded their first win in 2009 with a 3-0 victory over Trinity College in their first match of the tri-match held at Hood College. The WildCats would then drop their second match against the host Hood College in three sets, 3-0.

Randolph posted the win over Trinity by scores of 25-10, 25-7, and 25-9. Junior Kristin Spinner led the way with seven kills, while junior setter Caroline English finished with a team-high 11 assists.

The WildCats would fall to Hood College in their second match of the day by scores of 25-19, 25-22, and 25-15.

Randolph will return to ODAC play Thursday when they travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to face Guilford College for a match scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
