Ashland, VA -- Randolph College dropped a 3-0 decision at Randolph-Macon College in ODAC volleyball action Wednesday night. The host Yellow Jackets won in three straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-4.
With the loss Randolph slips to 2-25 overall and 1-9 in conference matches. Randolph-Macon improves to 22-5 overall and 9-1 in ODAC play.
First-year outside hitter Sam Sublett led the WildCats with four kills and six digs. Junior setter Caroline English posted a team-high nine assists, while junior libero Lindsay Wood added a team-best 12 digs.
The WildCats will close-out the 2009 season at Southern Virginia University in a non-conference match Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
