Riding competes at Randolph College Fall Festival

Fowler was awarded the Randolph College Medal for her performance over the weekend

Lynchburg, VA -- The Randolph College riding team competed at the annual Randolph College Fall Festival this past weekend at the college's outdoor riding facility in Lynchburg.

Jennifer Fowler led the WildCats capturing the Randolph College Medal Finals out of a field of 20 riders. She also finished first in the Limit Equitation Championship. Cat Allen finished second in the same event, while Holly Gerlach and Lorna McFarlane took home third and sixth respectively.

Gillian Baird was named the Open Equitation Champion. Other Randolph riders receiving honors were Lizzie Kerron (2nd/SWVHJA Adult Medal, 3rd/Oak Ridge Medal Finals), Jennifer Brown (3rd/SWVHJA Adult Medal, 6th/Oak Ridge Medal Finals), and Lydia Kirchner (6th/SWVHJA Adult Medal).

Randolph will return to action Saturday when they travel to Bridgewater, VA to compete in the Bridgewater College IHSA Show at 12:00 p.m.
