Last year was a banner year for the Randolph College softball program, as the WildCats advanced to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament championship contest, setting the program record for wins in a season with 22.
While it would be easy to dwell on the successes of last year, second year head coach Caroline Cubbage understand that taking the next step to perennial contenders is just as hard as taking the previous step to being competitive in the strong Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Randolph was picked seventh in this year’s league’s preseason poll.
