Junior standout named to First Team in College Division

Emory, VA -- Randolph College junior Lindsay Cross added yet another post-season award to her list Thursday as she was named to the 2009 VaSID All-State Softball team for her efforts during a recording breaking season. Cross was named to the First Team of the College Division.
Cross batted a blistering .491 during the year helping the WildCats to a school record 19 wins and a spot in the ODAC Championship Tournament last April. She led the team with five home runs, 11 doubles and 35 runs batted in from her first base position.
