Christen Colburn has over eight years of swim coaching experience. She most recently served as the Forest Area Swim Team head coach, where she worked with over 70 swimmers. She organized meets, produced meet schedules, and designed practices to work on various techniques.
Prior to her time as Forest Area Swim Team head coach, Colburn served as the head swim coach at Jefferson Forest High School for two years. During her time at Jefferson Forest, Colburn worked with over 48 swimmers. She led the boy's team to their best state finish in school history. Colburn also guided both the girl's and boy's teams to their first Lynchburg Invitational win in school history.
Colburn is a 2002 graduate of Liberty University where she holds a Bachelor of Science in sport management and a minor in business management.
