Women's Basketball

The Randolph College women's basketball team, under the direction of second-year head coach Allison Nichols, has started to trend upwards with a very productive season in 2011-12. The WildCats earned three non-conference wins over Peace College, Barber Scotia College and Bryn Mawr College while picking up its first league victory in over two years with a late season home win over Emory & Henry College.

The WildCats rostered 13 players this season, which tied for the most in school history. First-year guards Bri Lowry '15 and Chelsea Tyler '15 had impressive opening campaigns for the WildCats, while center Megan Russell '15 had dominate spurts as well. Forward Jensen Hoover '15 also had multiple solid efforts, and Randolph's young nucleus should only get better moving into 2012-13.
